An internationally renowned broadcaster, writer and campaigner on diversity issues.

June began her career at MTV in 1998, and went on to host T4 for eight years, interviewing everyone from Kylie Minogue to Kanye West, and even duetting with Tom Jones. She has gone on to appear as a panellist on ITV’s Loose Women and now on Sky News’ The Pledge.

June is equally comfortable interviewing politicians, celebrities and members of the public and has interviewed and introduced some of the world’s biggest names including HRH Prince of Wales, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Bono, Tony Blair, George Clooney and 50 Cent.

Since 2010, she has built a reputation as a leading campaigner on a wide range of diversity and inclusion issues. She is a passionate advocate for change in the workplace and a champion for greater representation throughout the media. She has written two books on diversity issues - Diversify (2017) and The Power of Women (2018) - and co-founded the Women - Inspiration and Enterprise (WIE) Alliance in 2010, an international conference supporting female excellence and empowerment.

June has worked extensively with HRH Prince Charles for ten years as an ambassador for his charity the Prince’s Trust, whilst campaigning for The One and Produce (RED).

She was awarded an MBE in 2007 for her services to broadcasting and charity, making her one of the youngest people ever to receive an MBE. She was recognised once again in the New Year Honours List 2020, receiving an OBE for services to broadcasting.

In October 2019, June became the first ever ‘Director of Creative Diversity’ at the BBC, where, as part of her role, she develops strategies to support both on-air and production talent representation and portrayal across the BBC, its platforms and its partners, to make the BBC more inclusive and representative of the broad and diverse audience it serves.

June also co-founded the Decide Act Now (DNA) summit which "brings together some of the most innovative minds in the world to generate ideas and initiatives that will effect lasting social change by working together to tackle some of humanity’s most pressing issues.”
